I asked Jesus what we were going to do today. He said "you pick." As a redeemed child of God, reconciled to Him and His plan, He knows He can trust me to step aside and let him live through me no matter what I choose to do today. THAT's freedom in Christ! Just relax, He is perfectly capable of being the great "I AM" while you are enjoying life!

Stagger NOT at the promise of God through unbelief! Consider NOT the physical circumstances! Consider ONLY His Word which IS His promise which HE declared unto us and declared Himself faithful to perform that which HE promised. He IS sovereign, in that HE will remain faithful to the covenant that HE drafted not basing HIS faithfulness on OUR faithfulness but on our FAITH in HIS faithfulness. (yes you may need to read it again!)

Sign of a warrior...The same thing that causes fear in others, angers you and stirs you to action! Righteousness and Justice are the foundations of God's throne. Having been reconciled to Him we are stirred to anger at injustice, not so we can co-miser ate with the world as if we are subject to corruption...but to enter the fray, seek His wisdom, and declare His victory and authority till the rulers of the opposing kingdom relinquish their grip and walk away admitting defeat once again. How can we see a world held captive, unwittingly playing into the enemies hand, and not answer the call? Those weapons on our belt aren't just for show! Pull that sword and use it for goodness sake!

Where's the Power to Perform?

Do we honestly think that if we are clever and use the word "imperitives" instead of "Law" that it will be life changing? Demand is demand no matter how you try to dress it up. We are just as impotent to perform the "imperitives" in the New Testament as we were to obey the law in the Old. We are empowered by the finished work as we receive the word and LET it take root in our hearts. Paul does not call himself a minister of "imperitives" but a minister of righteousness. The righteousness will produce the fruit in us as we rest in who He has made us. Stop disqualifying His people!
